Pictet Gets Number Two Spot in Global Survey

Pictet was rated the second best provider of global custody services by R&M Consultants, a UK-based research consultancy. First place went to RBC Dexia Investor Services. And third place was awarded to Societe Generale. The survey, which was conducted among more than 1,000 financial institutions worldwide, assessed the level of satisfaction with the services provided by their global custodians. Pictet regained the ground that it lost in 2005, when it slipped to fifth place. As a result of this recovery, Pictet was also awarded first place in the "Most Improved" category. UBS came forth in the survey, followed by Mellon Group and Northern Trust.
